Indigenous Resource Opportunities Conference Media Accreditation
The Indigenous Resource Opportunities Conference (IROC) welcomes applications from professional journalists working for eligible media outlets that report on Indigenous communities, leadership and resource-sector developments across B.C.
Approved applicants will receive a complimentary media pass for the 10th Indigenous Resource Opportunities Conference. The media pass includes access to the plenary, trade show and keynotes, but not meals.
Online access to this event is not available.
Credentials are issued to individuals and are not transferable. Credentials are to be used for the purpose for which they are issued, with no exceptions.
Eligibility Criteria
- Media passes are intended for journalists who will report on the Indigenous Resource Opportunities Conference from a recognized news organization, magazine, trade publication or broadcasting network.
- Applicants must hold a valid media or pass card.
- Media passes are issued on the condition that accredited journalists produce at least one published piece covering the event.
Accreditation is reserved for editorial professionals. Applications from advertising agencies, media sales representatives, and personal bloggers are not eligible to receive a media pass.
Application Process
- Confirm that you meet the eligibility requirements listed above to confirm you qualify for a media pass.
- Complete and submit the online application form.
- IROC staff will review your submission and notify you by email of the outcome.
- If approved, you'll receive a registration code via email with instructions on how to register for your IROC media pass.
