Lisa Risvold

For more than 25 years, Lisa Risvold has worked in sustainable development across Treaty 6 and Treaty 8 Territories, with a career focused on building practical partnerships that create long-term value for Indigenous Nations, communities, industry, and stakeholders.

Lisa began her career at the community level, working alongside women and youth to develop and implement initiatives focused on empowerment and strengthened local capacity.

Since entering the mining industry in 2008, Lisa has focused on advancing collaborative approaches that support economic participation, capacity building, and shared decision-making with Indigenous Nations and host communities. As Vice President, Indigenous, Communities, and Land Strategy at Conuma Resources, she works closely with Indigenous Nations, municipal governments, and not-for-profit associations to support the continued growth of partnerships that create meaningful and lasting impacts.

Lisa is honoured to be involved in the Hope Truck. The Hope Truck reflects Lisa’s belief that meaningful partnerships and collective action create lasting, community-driven impact.
