The Clean Energy Association of British Columbia (CEBC) will host the first meeting of its renewed First Nations Steering Committee during the 9th Annual Indigenous Resource Opportunities Conference.

Format: Hybrid (in person and virtual participation available)
This inaugural gathering will bring together First Nations representatives from across the province to discuss the purpose of the Committee and its plans moving forward. The Steering Committee will play an active role in guiding CEBC’s advocacy priorities, advancing clean energy policy in B.C., and ensuring Indigenous leadership remains central to the energy transition.
The first half of the meeting will be held in camera. In the second half, BC Hydro will join to present and seek feedback on the draft Request for Proposals (RFP) and First Nations economic participation model being developed for the 2025 Call for Power.
All First Nations leaders, authorised Nation representatives, and designated energy champions are welcome to attend.
