Derek Funk

Derek Funk is one of 2 Indigenous Business Development Managers for Finning Canada. These roles help to develop a deeper understanding regarding the unique history and cultural diversity of each community we partner with. With every relationship customized to the unique needs of each Indigenous community and business, Finning helps to provide opportunities for mutual benefit – developing business partnerships and advancing projects across Western Canada.

Derek has over 30 years experience working with First Nation communities. Derek is from the Ashcroft First Nation (Nlaka’pamux) peoples. In his spare time he loves being on the land, hunting and fishing.
