Bio
Mike Hykaway is the Assistant Deputy Minister of Regional Operations for the North Area, with British Columbia’s Ministry of Forests. With over 20 years experience in the provincial government, he provides strong leadership on natural resource and forestry management across BC’s interior and northern communities. He has extensive experience working with First Nations, industry, and other government agencies, and brings a strong focus on building meaningful partnerships that support collaborative, sustainable approaches to economic development and reconciliation.
