Randall Heidt

Vice President Strategic Initiatives, North Island College

Randall Heidt is Vice President Strategic Initiatives at North Island College and the Executive Director of the NIC Foundation.

Randall leads several areas at NIC including: First Nations, Government and Community Relations; the Centre for Applied Research, Technology and Innovation (CARTI); Marketing and Communications; and the Office of Advancement.

Randall holds a Bachelor of Communications degree from Mount Royal University, a Master’s in Leadership degree from Royal Roads University and a Professional Fundraising certificate from Boston University.

Randall is a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) and a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. Randall has worked as a senior leader in post-secondary education since 2008. Randall is an avid community supporter and has volunteered with the Chamber of Commerce, Innovation Island, Special Olympics, minor hockey, youth soccer, and many other organizations. Randall is particularly proud of his work to support Indigenous learners and First Nations communities.
