A member of the Pekuakamiulnuatsh Nation, Alexandre Girard is the general manager of Groupe Aishkatsh, a general forestry contractor based in the Ilnu community of Mashteuiatsh, Quebec. Holding a master’s degree in business administration, Alexandre uses his extensive management experience to promote sustainable forestry, rooted in respect for Indigenous knowledge and traditional values. Committed to promoting the local workforce, he actively contributes to building bridges between modern practices and First Nations’ visions of the land.
